Eric McHenry is a technology veteran turned community builder whose career has spanned corporate leadership, public service, and volunteer-driven organizations. He spent 25 years at Hewlett Packard (later Agilent) before shifting into public service as CIO for the City of Santa Rosa, where he led technology modernization and citizen-facing initiatives for nearly two decades.

Most recently, Eric completed his term as International President of the Airstream Club International. Under his leadership, the club embraced greater inclusivity and strengthened its reputation as one of the strongest lifestyle communities in the world. Alongside his wife LaVerne, Eric helped widen the circle — championing diversity, launching new intra-clubs, and building bridges that made more people feel they belong.

An avid mountain biker, birder, and outdoorsman, Eric believes in the power of nature, community, and shared experiences to bring people together.
